| Terms
and conditions Confirmation of booking
A booking between the owners and
the person(s) making the booking (the client) is valid only after the
booking form has been completed and signed, the appropriate deposit has been
paid to the owners and the booking has been confirmed in writing to the
client. Signing of the booking form constitutes acceptance of these terms
and conditions by the client(s).
Times and occupation
Your villa will be available for
occupation after 4pm on the first day of rental and you agree to vacate by
11am on the last day of rental. Failure to vacate by 11am will attract a
further day's rental charge of which you undertake to pay.
Rental Deposit
The deposit is £100 per week
booked. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of £150 or
$250 is required
against any breakages, telephone charges, failure to place key in the lock
box.
This is to be paid in addition to the final balance payable 8 weeks prior to
departure. In the event of any charges being made, the client will be
advised in writing, otherwise the deposit will be returned within 28 days of
return. The client(s) shall be held liable for the cost, without limit, of making
good all damages or loss to the property, its furnishings or contents
occasioned during the rental period, with the exception of loss or damage
arising as a result of events specifically insured by the owners.
Balance
The balance of the rental will
be eight weeks before the holiday commencement date. The owners reserve the
right to cancel the rental where the full balance has not been received
eight weeks prior to the holiday commencement date. Where bookings are
accepted within eight weeks of departure full pre-payment will be required.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be
notified in writing as soon as possible. In the event of you having to
cancel your booking the following charges will apply:
More than 8 weeks £100 per week
booked
Between 6 and 8 weeks 50% of
rental cost
Less than 6 weeks 100% of rental
cost
Clients are strongly advised to
to ensure adequate cancellation cover is provided within their travel
insurance.
Swimming pool
If the client(s) are unable to
use the swimming pool in the villa due to repair or maintenance for a period
in excess of seven days there will be a refund made of 5% of the weekly
rental charge for each day the pool is unusable. No refunds will apply for
periods of less than seven days. The owners and agents do not accept any
liability for injury howsoever caused during the use of the pool and its
surrounds. Children should not be permitted to use the pool unsupervised.
Under the terms of the Florida state hotel/motel license, the pool door
is alarmed for the protection of children and as a reminder to keep the door
closed for the air conditioning to work efficiently. Tampering with this
alarm will incur a fine. Pool heating, if required, can be requested at the
time of booking and must be paid for with the final balance. Pool
temperature cannot be guaranteed as this is subject to prevailing weather
conditions.
Many people assume that the cages over most of the pools are fitted with
glass like a huge conservatory. The cage is actually fitted with a fine
nylon mesh that reduces the amount of harmful UV rays you're subjected to
and helps keep bugs and dust out of the water. Take care with the screen as
it is fairly delicate and the mesh can be torn relatively easily.
Pool heating
Pool heating is chargeable extra
and can be requested at time of booking or at resort via our management
company. The current charges are £90 / $150 per week or £15 / $25 per day.

safety of the property.

all doors and windows on the opposite side of the villa. Our villa is fitted
with an intruder alarm, ask the property manager for instructions on its
use. We will not be responsible for any accidents in the home or pool area
and recommend that children are supervised at all times.
It is against Florida statute to

items in the villa after your departure.

their agents will not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal
injury, accidents loss or damage to persons or property howsoever caused.
The Hamlet is a new development that consists of both residential and
